We're committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone's empowered to be their best.Essential Duties:Welding & RepairPerform TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on aluminum castingsUse appropriate filler materials and machine settings specific to aluminum weldingWeld and repair surface defects, cracks, or porosity in castingsGrind and smooth welds to meet required finish and quality standardsEnsure weld integrity and appearance meet internal specificationsEquipment Fabrication & MaintenanceBuild custom equipment, frames, and supports for foundry operationsMaintain welding tools and report equipment issues promptlyRigging & SetupUse rigging equipment such as hoists, slings, and cranes to safely lift and position castingsSet up castings in welding fixtures to ensure proper orientation, stability, and accessSurface PreparationClean and prep welding surfaces by drilling, grinding, and removing contaminantsSafely operate welding machines, grinders, and sawsSafety & ComplianceWear appropriate PPE: welding helmet, safety glasses, leather gloves, welding jacket, steel toe bootsAdhere to safety procedures for welding in high-heat, metalworking environmentsHandle aluminum dust and fumes in compliance with health and environmental standardsEducation and Experience:High school diploma, GED or equivalent. (Required)Manufacturing experience.
