Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on medical surgical telemetry. Responsibilities include patient assessments, management of medical/surgical patients, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient care in a telemetry setting.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical surgical or telemetry unit.
• Current and valid RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary.
• Pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding.
