Join Our Team as a Seamstress/Stitcher at JBMason Custom Costumes!

Are you a skilled seamstress or stitcher with a passion for creativity and craftsmanship? JBMason Custom Costumes, based in Marietta, GA, is looking for a talented individual to join our team. We specialize in crafting exclusive, one-of-a-kind costumes for one of the largest dance studios in the Southeast, as well as Baton Twirling and Dance Team costumes for schools and competitions. If you have at least one year of experience with sewing machines and a love for creating beautiful garments, we’d love to hear from you!

This position offers flexible hours with a minimum of 15–20 hours per week, and during our busiest months (January and February), there may be opportunities to work up to 30–40 hours per week. Our peak season runs from September through March, and we’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

As a Seamstress/Stitcher at JBMason Custom Costumes, you’ll play a key role in bringing our unique designs to life. Your daily tasks will include sewing and assembling a variety of custom costumes, from elegant ballet tutus to edgy hip-hop outfits, jazz ensembles, and themed character designs. This is a hands-on sewing role, not a design position, so we’re looking for someone who can confidently work with industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments.

You’ll follow patterns and instructions to ensure precision and attention to detail, collaborate with our team to meet project deadlines during seasonal peaks, and help maintain and care for sewing equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience as a seamstress or stitcher, with proficiency in using industrial sewing machines (JUKI 3 and 5 Thread Serger, JUKI top/straight stitch, Singer zig-zag, and Singer Straight stitch sequin machine).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• The ability to follow patterns and instructions accurately.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads, especially during the busy season.
• A passion for creating beautiful, custom garments.
