Production Specialist Operator - 2nd shift - Columbus Plant

Abbott Nutrition Division seeks a Production Specialist Operator for second shift at the Columbus, Ohio plant. The role involves operating filling, processing, and sterilizing equipment while maintaining safety, sterility standards, and regulatory compliance in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate filling, processing, sterilizing equipment and conduct sampling procedures
• Monitor sterility charts and perform tests to verify sterilization compliance
• Complete work orders and associated documentation with accuracy
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and perform housekeeping tasks
• Replenish production materials and ensure regulatory compliance with FDA, OSHA, and company policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of production or manufacturing experience
• Ability to work effectively in team environment with strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills and ability to communicate across organizational levels
• Capacity to stand continuously for prolonged periods during shifts
• Aseptic fill and sanitation process experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience preferred

Compensation: $19.05 – $38.15/hour
