Administer focused, one-on-one speech therapy sessions that hone in on communication skills, language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family members, and caregivers, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families to bolster therapy progress outside of scheduled meetings.

Provide support with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as necessary, ensuring a smooth treatment process.

Maintain meticulous documentation according to state, federal, and organizational standards.

Engage in ongoing learning to stay abreast of advancements in speech therapy through professional development and peer consultations.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting.

Strong command of evidence-based methodologies for treating individuals across all ages, with insight into developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary professionals.

Ability to adjust therapy techniques respecting diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
