Conduct evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized assessments and observational methods.
Craft tailored treatment plans that cater to both short-term and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
Deliver personalized speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop coordinated care strategies.
Provide educational support for patients and families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
Engage in occasional inpatient assessments and therapy interventions, ensuring a seamless care experience throughout the recovery journey.
Maintain up-to-date and precise documentation to comply with state, federal, and organizational requirements.
Continue to evolve as a professional by staying informed on the latest advancements in the field through educational opportunities and peer networking.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if ASHA certification is pending.
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Expertise in research-based therapeutic methods suitable for all ages, equipped with a profound understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Adaptability in therapy methods to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Comfort and familiarity with electronic medical record systems and documentation requirements.
