Senior Specialist, Multi-Asset Product Management

About the Role The Multi-Asset Indices Product Management team at S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Senior Specialist to support its initiatives in both the US and globally. This role serves as a product manager, providing clients with indexing solutions in growing areas of the insurance, options overlay, and multi‑asset investment universes. Responsibilities include owning the product development and maintenance process and overseeing the financial health of the product line. Responsibilities Help define and execute the product development strategy, considering market trends and client needs. Support the suite of Multi‑Asset Indices and products with analysis and content creation for thought leadership materials (pitch decks, blogs, white papers, videos, and other media). Collaborate closely with the Research and Design team on index design. Oversee the index launch process: plan the project, coordinate internal teams, and manage timelines with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with product‑management team members and support global initiatives. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required. Master’s degree in a relevant field or progress toward a CFA charter a plus. 2‑5 years of relevant work experience. Self‑driven with a strong motivation to research and innovate on new ideas. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable working with large data sets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to deliver high‑quality presentations and create supporting content. Experience interacting with sophisticated clients; ability to learn and ask questions. Programming skills (Python, R, SQL, VBA, others) desirable. Knowledge of financial packages such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Barra, Axioma, etc. desirable. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, influencing others and gaining consensus when needed. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty; able to handle high technical complexity and explain it to diverse audiences. Compensation & Benefits Eligible for a base salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 in the U.S., with final pay based on location, experience, and skill set. The role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional S&P Global benefits.
