Account Manager, Immune Response, Hospital Sales (Chicago, IL)

QIAGEN

Account Manager role focused on driving hospital adoption of QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus diagnostic testing across the Chicago territory. Responsibilities include managing sales pipeline, navigating healthcare system contracts, and positioning immune response diagnostics as superior alternatives to traditional TB testing methods.

Responsibilities

Drive adoption of QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus across hospitals, labs, and healthcare providers
Build and manage sales pipeline with CRM discipline and strategic territory planning
Navigate contracting processes with healthcare systems and government accounts
Educate stakeholders on clinical benefits, operational efficiencies, and testing guidelines
Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, medical, and technical support

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
3+ years of sales experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare with quota achievement
Strong knowledge of diagnostic market, lab workflows, and value-based selling
Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Willingness to travel 50–75% within assigned territory

Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 base, plus commission and benefits
