Job Description

Machine Operator / Panel Line Catcher – 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Gary, IN

Pay: $18/hour during 2nd shift training → $19/hour when moved to 3rd shift

Schedule:

Training: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM, Monday–Friday for approximately 1–2 months
After Training: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Monday–Friday

Job Description

Catch and prepare corrugated paper products at the finishing stage while ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Catch finished products from the panel line, with safety as the top priority.
Check finished products for quality and customer specifications.
Strap and wrap products according to customer requirements.
Keep the panel line area clean and free of debris.
Assist in other plant areas as needed.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand a product master.
Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
Ability to regularly lift 25–50 lbs.
