Accounts Payable Clerk

About the Role Essential Duties and Responsibilities Preparing batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions. Ensuring payment is received and responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance. Handling all vendor correspondence via phone or email. Posting and reconciling payments by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Reconciling accounts payable transactions Preparing analysis of accounts and produces monthly cash flow reports and forecast. Continuing to improve the payment process. Preparing all purchase order invoices, investigates, and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders. Assisting with monthly closings. Assisting with audit requests Performing Accounts Receivable duties as needed. Performing other duties as required to support the Accounting Department. About You Required Qualifications High School Diploma / GED or equivalent level of education is required. 3+ years of prior Accounts Payable experience is required with solid knowledge of accounting basics (debits, credits, etc.). Prefer experience within a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal). Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Must be detailed oriented with attention to accuracy and exhibit excellent problem-solving skills. Experience with SAP is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
