Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support construction activities at a power generation facility. This role is heavily focused on field safety oversight, ensuring contractors adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be highly visible in the field, proactively identifying hazards, enforcing compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture. You will work alongside another safety professional who manages most administrative and reporting responsibilities, allowing you to focus primarily on on‑site safety execution. Key Responsibilities Monitor and enforce safety practices for contractors performing on‑site construction work Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and site standards Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions in real‑time Support development and implementation of site‑specific safety plans (evacuation, fire, medical, rescue) Participate in project meetings to address safety‑related topics Maintain a strong field presence as a go‑to resource for safety questions and concerns Qualifications Required: OSHA 30 Certification Preferred: OSHA 500 or CHST certification 2–3+ years of construction safety experience (industrial or power plant experience strongly preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Allied Resources Technical Consultants
