Senior ServiceNow Developer Location: Suwanee, GA Duration: 5-Month Contract Work Arrangement: Hybrid Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a 5-month contract. This is a highly hands-on role for a senior-level ServiceNow expert responsible for configuring, customizing, developing, and extending the ServiceNow platform to support evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solutions, maintain existing applications, and deliver new functionality through a formalized Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) . This role will also contribute to mature development and release practices and help strengthen CI/CD processes across the ServiceNow environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and implement custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, and solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications. Configure and customize existing ServiceNow modules to improve functionality and efficiency. Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using Integration Hub and REST APIs . Develop secure, high-quality, well-documented ServiceNow code and configurations. Perform application testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance. Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow solutions, including: Business Rules UI Policies Client Scripts ACLs Workflows Dashboards and Reporting Data Imports Service Catalog Support ServiceNow development and releases within a formal SDLC . Contribute to the development and maturity of CI/CD pipelines and release processes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow platform. Stay current with new ServiceNow features, functionality, and development best practices. Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to end users and junior team members. Produce clear and concise technical documentation and release notes. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience. Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including ServiceNow Development Studio . Strong scripting experience with GlideScript and UI Scripts . Experience with ServiceNow modules such as: Incident Management Change Management Problem Management Integration Hub Strong experience with Service Catalog . Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript . Proven experience developing integrations using Integration Hub . Experience with REST APIs . Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with SDLC . Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Certified ServiceNow Administrator required. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience working in a data center environment or other critical process environment. Experience with additional ServiceNow modules, including: Customer Experience ITOM CMDB Security Operations Customer Service Management (CSM) ITIL v3/v4 certification .
