Hotel Night Auditor

Homewood Suites by Hilton – Boston/Canton – 50 Royal Street, Canton, MA 02021 We are currently looking for a night auditor to join our Team! Our Homewood Suites in Canton has 98 spacious suites with full kitchens. We are just south of Boston, you can easily take the nearby 128 train to Boston. Gillette Stadium and Legacy Place are a 15‑minute drive. Less than a mile away is the Blue Hills Reservation and Trillium Brewing. Our guests enjoy a self‑serve beer and wine station and complimentary breakfast every morning. The Homewood Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award‑winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. The Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during overnight hours and provides superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include: Greeting guests, completing the check‑in/check‑out procedure through the Property Management System while obtaining and storing pertinent information. Handling cash, credit card information, and goods at the property. Identifying the needs of each guest and providing relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment for all. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner. Taking reservations from incoming callers and inputting all pertinent information into the hotel management system; updating and cancelling reservations as requested by the guest. Organizing previous shift paperwork, closing and balancing all room accounts and vouchers, investigating and analyzing out‑of‑balance situations, running trial balance reports and night audit. For the most success in this role, requirements are as follows: Customer Service experience, in a hotel setting preferred. Hilton experience is a plus. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval. Typical Schedule: Overnights, 11 PM – 7 AM ; weekend availability needed.
