Business Analyst

Job Title

Interview: Phone and skype Visa: All apart from H1b and CPT Description: The selected candidate will be allowed to work remotely until all staff return to site. At that time the candidate will be required to work onsite full time.

Responsibilities

• Streamlining permitting processes to ensure a consistent, transparent, and efficient permitting processes.
• Modernize the permitting system online – Create a web-based solution for applying, tracking and paying for applications.
• Create publicly accessible data dashboards.
• Bridge the gap between the business and IT and work closely with PTP project managers, developers, process engineers, specialists in the divisions, and other IT professionals to help guide the permit transformation process.
• Collaborate with key teams and individuals to identify and produce business, user, solution, and functional requirements.
• Facilitate requirements elicitation working sessions
• Work closely with data specialists and architects to identify common data elements and attributes for various current-state systems.
• Produce user stories, story maps, simple user manuals, and related user-focused artifacts.
• Help conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions.
• Create weekly status updates that include recent accomplishments, status of milestones, and risks, and other key activities.

Required Skills

• 10 Years - Understanding of general IT architectural principles, technical designs and specifications
• 5 Years - Understanding business requirements and translating them into specific software requirements
• 5 Years - Experience with evaluating information harvested through surveys and workshops, task analysis and business process description.
• 5 Years - Demonstrable experience in business analysis work
• 3 Years - BSc in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or commensurate experience

Desired Skills

• 5 Years - BA experience with MS Power Apps – Dynamics CRM in particular.
• 5 Years - Wireframing and UX experience
• 5 Years - Familiarity and experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies
• 5 Years - Experience serving as the Lead Business Analyst on combined team of analysts and developers
