• Under general supervision, seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Technician to assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot, and document industrial control panels and automation systems.

• The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting electrical schematics, working with industrial control components, and ensuring all assemblies meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.

• This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of automation and control system projects while collaborating closely with engineers, electricians, and project teams.

• Assemble industrial control panels, junction boxes, and operator interface enclosures.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of material.

• Install, wire, label, and terminate electrical and electronic components.

• Route and organize control, power, communication, and instrumentation wiring.

• Perform panel modifications and engineering change implementations.

• Conduct continuity checks, point-to-point verification, and functional testing.

• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues and resolve wiring discrepancies.

• Document testing results and maintain accurate production records.

• Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) activities.

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.

• Assist with field installation, startup, and commissioning activities as required.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualification:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Technical degree or certificate in Electrical Technology, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience assembling and wiring industrial control panels or related electrical equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

• Experience using electrical test equipment, including digital multimeters and continuity testers.

• Knowledge of industrial electrical components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, power supplies, PLCs, and motor controls.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with UL 508A panel construction practices.

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or similar control systems.

• Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.

• Experience supporting field installations and commissioning projects.
