Key Responsibilities\n \n * Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead group sessions that encourage peer interaction and mutual support, helping clients share personal experiences and learn from one another. \n * Individual Counseling: Conduct personalized therapy sessions where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment and develop tailored coping strategies. \n * Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop effective, individualized treatment plans, clearly outlining goals and actionable steps to address their unique needs. \n * Progress Evaluation: Regularly assess and monitor client progress using diverse assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to ensure effective treatment outcomes. \n * Team Collaboration: Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer support specialists to coordinate comprehensive care for each client. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our primary focus is on young adults aged 18-30, many of whom are navigating significant life transitions and mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Working with this demographic requires a unique understanding of their needs and a compassionate approach to help them build resilience. Qualifications\n \n * Educational Background: A Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required. \n * Licensure: Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure is essential. \n * Clinical Experience: Proven experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients who have mood disorders in either outpatient or residential settings. \n * Team-Oriented: A collaborative mindset driven by a passion for fostering positive, meaningful change in clients. \n * Strong Therapeutic Skills: Proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is highly valued. \n Preferred Experience\n While we welcome all qualified candidates, preference may be given to those with additional certifications in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or related specialties, as well as those with experience integrating holistic approaches in treatment.
