We're seeking a dedicated licensed physical therapist to provide school-based services on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who value flexibility and collaboration—serving students ages 5 to 18 (occasionally up to 22) across two educational sites. With a caseload of approximately 20 students, you're empowered to create your own weekly schedule (15–20 hours) as long as IEP service minutes are met, coordinating sessions with teachers to support student academic progress.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active physical therapy license required
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
• Understanding of special education law as it pertains to PT services and eligibility
• Comfortable participating in and documenting for IEP team meetings
• Skilled in providing screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy in a K–postsecondary setting
• Willingness to travel between two campuses

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver PT screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for a diverse caseload (K–postsecondary)
• Schedule and fulfill roughly 1,000–1,200 monthly treatment minutes
• Collaborate with classroom staff to minimize disruption to core instruction
• Act as the sole PT member of a multidisciplinary “motor” team, working alongside OTs and COTAs
• Complete IEP paperwork and contribute to meetings, ensuring legal and professional compliance
