Step into a dynamic contract role providing vital physical therapy services for students in an engaging educational environment. You’ll work closely with the school’s “motor” team, collaborating with OTs and COTAs across two campuses. With a caseload of approximately 20 students ranging from ages 5 to 18 (occasionally up to 22 years), you’ll enjoy the flexibility of shaping your weekly schedule—delivering 15-20 hours of service per week as you coordinate with classroom teachers to support student success without disrupting key academic moments.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (required)
• Prior experience working within schools or with K-12 populations is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with special education laws as they relate to PT eligibility and services in school-based settings
• Capable of effective collaboration as the school’s sole physical therapist on both campuses (travel to Pleasant Grove and North Salt Lake required)
• Strong organizational skills for managing IEP documentation and participating actively in IEP team meetings

Core responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct treatment (1,000–1,200 minutes monthly)
• Provide services and support to students in kindergarten through post-secondary programs
• Work with educators to schedule student services, minimizing academic disruption
• Complete required IEP paperwork in a timely manner
• Communicate progress and participate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
