Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams, drive technical excellence, and deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, oversee project execution, and ensure timely delivery of scalable and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers.
• Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams to define technical solutions.
• Define engineering goals, roadmaps, and delivery milestones.
• Conduct performance reviews, career development, and coaching for team members.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and software quality.
• Manage sprint planning, resource allocation, and project prioritization.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and project dependencies.
• Oversee system architecture, scalability, security, and performance improvements.
• Drive engineering process improvements and Agile best practices.
• Monitor project progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Required Skills

Preferred Technical Skills

• Programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C#, Go, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of API design, REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–15 years of software development experience.
• 3–5 years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale software products.
