Process Engineer I

Process EngineerH.B. Fuller is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing performance across bulk production, material handling, and packaging operations. This role applies data-driven methods to improve throughput, yield, reliability, and safety. You will partner cross-functionally to support continuous improvement, capital projects, and process safety initiatives.Primary ResponsibilitiesImprove throughput, yield, cycle time, and OEE using data analysisLead root cause investigations and implement corrective actionsTroubleshoot process and equipment performance issuesApply Lean and Six Sigma methods to reduce waste and variationSupport capacity planning and identify production bottlenecksParticipate in PSM activities (PHA, MOC, PSSR) and ensure complianceAssist with capital projects, equipment selection, and startupDevelop SOPs and train operators on process improvementsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field3+ years in manufacturing, process improvement, or operationsExperience with data analysis, SPC, or process optimizationDemonstrated problem-solving using measurable outcomesWork authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipPreferred Requirements5+ years in chemicals, polymers, adhesives, or related industriesExperience in PSM-regulated environments (PHA, MOC, PSSR)Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationFamiliarity with PLCs, DCS, SAP, or manufacturing systemsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $80,000-$94,000. In addition to your salary, H.B.
