Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Applicants should be located at one of our hubs listed above and must be willing to work this schedule. Role Type: Full-time Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + annual bonus Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, licensure, experience, and education. To view more details of what you can look forward to, visit our careers page: Education Requirements Bachelor's in Accounting from a U.S. Accredited University (US GAAP Focused Education) Preferred: MBA or Masters in Accounting Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities through preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations Perform fluctuation analyses on balance sheet and income statement accounts and provide explanations to leadership Maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy of accounting records and financial reporting Support internal and external audits by preparing support and responding to inquiries and requests Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting best practices to improve control environment Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies in processes and journal entries Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, track metrics/results, and resolve accounting issues All other duties as assigned Basic Requirements 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles Advanced proficiency in the use of business applications, particularly Excel Experience with general ledger applications (preferably Workday) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-starter who will anticipate challenges and work proactively to resolve issues Highly accountable team player with customer service mentality Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Requirements CPA or progress toward CPA Experience in the financial services or asset management industry. Public accounting experience at Big 4 or large international firm (BDO, RSM, Grant Thornton) Public Company/Controls experience (SOX) Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake, Power BI or similar reporting and analytics tools #J-18808-Ljbffr Osaic
