Company: Proaquatix LLC is located in Vero Beach, FL. We are one of the largest producers of marine ornamentals in the U.S., supplying the marine aquarium hobby as well as public aquariums.

Job Description:

This position would specifically entail managing the Coral systems at Proaquatix. As the Coral care specialist, this position will be in charge of all Coral systems (including maintenance and water quality), coral husbandry, packing coral orders, cutting and making coral frags. You will also be in charge of keeping inventory when corals are sold and when there is any mortality. This position will work side by side with assisting the sales manager with all general sales, and office duties that could be needed. There is a possibility of helping out with general picking and packing and shipping of all other orders.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate would have previous coral care experience and be well versed in water quality monitoring and system maintenance. Research and fish care experience is helpful. Plumbing, basic carpentry and previous fish packing experience a plus. Candidate must have a flexible schedule and ability to work a weekend day and some holidays. Minimum education of H.S. diploma or GED required. There will be a drug test for all applicants.

Salary: Determined by candidates experience. Company bonus initiated after first year of employment. Coral sales bonus. 401K with up to 3% company match available.
