Radiologic Technologist – Computed Tomography

Schedule: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in the state
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred
• Venipuncture certification: Preferred
• At least two years recent experience in the field

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Performs a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Ensures integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
