The Retail Store Manager plays a critical role in overseeing daily store operations while leading a medium-sized team of 6-15 employees. This position demands strong leadership to drive sales performance, ensure excellent customer service, and manage inventory efficiently. The manager reports directly to the Regional Manager and Area Supervisor and actively participates in the management committee. The role requires flexibility to work standard weekday hours, with weekend availability and occasional evening shifts.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead store staff to achieve performance and sales goals
• Manage inventory levels and control stock to maximize turnover
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience
• Drive sales management initiatives to meet or exceed targets
• Conduct team training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to promote products effectively
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and budgets
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and feedback

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in retail operations and inventory management
• Strong customer service orientation
• Demonstrated team leadership and sales management skills
• Experience in staff training and development
• Knowledge of financial management principles
• Effective conflict resolution and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
