YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, security, and reliable operation of Enterprise level servers, appliances, storage systems, and peripherals. Microsoft 365, AWS and VMware Administration is a plus. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of specialized system procedures. Performs basic systems administration functions, including managing profiles and accounts, monitors and manages system resources, including CPU, memory and disk usage; performs systems backups and recovery procedures. Writes or modifies basic scripts to resolve specific issues or problems; maintains system documentation and logs. Performs or assists in troubleshooting and diagnosing production system problems. Maintain network and server security, including application security, anti-virus, and user account management. Participate in monitoring, primary response and intervention for information technology-related security incidents and violations. Keep current with new systems; security; network technologies, and applicable laws and regulations. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Windows Systems Administration and Microsoft Active Directory Management. Must have excellent customer relations skills, superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Must thrive in a team environment and have the ability to coach and mentor Desktop Technicians. Linux fundamentals and willingness to learn Red Hat. WHAT YOU BRING TO US: Microsoft Certified Administrator or another Systems Administrator certification. Experience as a Jr. Systems Administrator is preferred. Demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience. TRAVEL: Minimal, infrequent travel WORKING CONDITIONS: General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.
