Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring responsibilities
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility standards, including competency assessment via safeMedicate
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete all required pre-start and annual modules and hands-on competency requirements as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required; co-worker references will not be accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single location preferred, though combined permanent experience across locations is considered
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to variable shift scheduling based on operational needs
