Clinician I / Family Support Specialist - WISe Program

Position Overview Frontier Behavioral Health’s wrap‑around intensive services (WISe) program provides individualized behavioral health services to Medicaid‑eligible youth and families. The WSe Wrap Around Family Support Specialist (FSS) coordinates care and facilitates the WISe process for children and families. Key Responsibilities Provide care coordination services to clients assigned to WISe, guiding the team, identifying support networks, and accessing community resources. Develop, conduct, and document Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, prepare agendas, visual aids, and maintain updated Cross‑System Care Plans (CSCP). Support implementation of CSCP plans and modify them as needed. Monitor and evaluate services, ensuring progress and meeting agency productivity standards for direct service hours. Maintain client records and required documentation in a timely, accurate manner per agency policies. Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and clinical staff briefings. Travel to client locations and between work sites as required. Essential Duties The role includes but is not limited to: Coordinate services across agencies and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and families. Prepare and submit Cross‑System Care Plans and documentation within 7 days of meetings. Maintain caseload in accordance with risk assessment guidelines and measurable progress. Ensure compliance with state laws, confidentiality standards, and client data protection. Other duties as assigned by the agency or supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field from an accredited institution. Must apply for a WA State Department of Health Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential within 30 days of hire. Complete a state‑supported WISe training module and Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) training within 30 days of hire. Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with active car insurance. Willingness to use personal vehicle for work trips. Preferred Experience Two years of experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes and statutes related to mental health services. Effective communication with individuals of diverse backgrounds, trauma experiences, and socioeconomic status. Ability to evaluate situations, adopt effective action plans, delegate responsibilities, and organize information. Ability to establish professional relationships with clinical, administrative, and support staff. Strong confidentiality practices. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a work‑life balance. Physical, Sensory & Environmental Vehicle access: drive within city limits; negotiate stairs, varying terrain, and multiple locations. Occasional travel; may work in various community settings including residences, shelters, and streets. Daily computer use required; lift 10‑20 pounds occasionally. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay $25.89 – $31.53 based on tenure. Paid Time Off: up to 26 days in the first year, plus 9 paid federal holidays.
