TPZP is seeking a Segment Manager for the project in Fresno, CAAbout California High Speed Rail- CP1 Extraordinary Projects, Exceptional PerformanceThe California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Construction Package 1 (CP1) is the first significant construction contract executed on the Initial Operating Section of the High-Speed Rail project in California’s Central Valley.The CP1 construction area is a 32-mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County, including major work elements in downtown Fresno. It includes 12 roadway / railroad grade separations, two mainline viaducts, one tunnel, realignments of existing railroad tracks, utility relocations, roadway relocations, two trench sections, and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River.Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional TalentDESCRIPTION : Assist the Project Executive in management of the project through oversight of a segment of the 30- mile Project.Liaise with owner representatives, project staff, subcontractors and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities within the assigned Project segment.Fully understand and manage construction of assigned segment in accordance with all plans and specificationsMonitor/control construction of assigned segment through administrative direction of on-site Superintendents to ensure project is built safely, meeting all quality standards, on schedule and within budgetIdentify potential construction issues, evaluate and implement best value solutions to facilitate uninterrupted constructionInvestigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.Represent company in project meetings, assist in strategy meetings, etc.Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with owner.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or similar5 or more years of experience as a Project Manager on heavy civil projects15 or more years of construction experiencePrevious experience in construction of rail projectsOUR MISSIONWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.OUR VISIONWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
