The services you will provide the *** project team: As a Business Analyst Contractor, you will support the project team by providing analytical expertise and ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives. Conduct research and gather data to support project objectives and decision-making. Analyze and document business processes, requirements, and workflows. Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, and user stories. Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Role Summary: Functional analyst needed to support a global supply chain data platform for a major automotive client. The role will focus on understanding business needs, shaping requirements, analyzing data, and ensuring delivered solutions meet functional expectations.

Location: Dallas, TX

Type: Hybrid, travel monthly once

Duration: 6 monthly initially, could be extended

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product teams to understand business use cases and priorities
• Facilitate requirement gathering with client stakeholders, SI teams, and source system owners
• Analyze datasets using SQL to validate against business requirements
• Identify data gaps, quality issues, and mismatches
• Partner with development teams to guide solution implementation
• Validate data products and support functional testing

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst in data or platform programs
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Ability to convert business needs into clear functional requirements
• Experience working across product, business, SI, and development teams
• Automobile, Supply chain domain knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data quality validation
• Requirement traceability experience with any hyperscalar or databricks
