Business Analyst Contractor: 6-9 years (Advanced)

Business Analyst Brokerage Cash Analytics Implementation

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of a third-party Brokerage Cash Analytics platform for a large wealth management client. The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, the Product Owner, technology teams, and the vendor implementation team to gather business requirements, document data and process needs, support integration activities, and drive successful testing and business adoption. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, financial services domain knowledge, and experience supporting enterprise technology implementations involving financial data, reporting, and analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
35+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology implementations
Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and data requirements for complex technology initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements
Experience supporting Agile delivery teams, including writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and participating in backlog refinement
Experience developing and executing test strategies, test cases, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Strong understanding of financial data, data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes
