Radio Communications Systems Technician - Join Our Team in California

We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Radio Communications Systems Technician to support the installation, testing, and maintenance of advanced communications systems. The role includes a mix of fieldwork and workshop activities and is ideal for someone with strong technical and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct on‑site performance and coverage testing of radio systems and equipment. Assemble modern communications equipment in the workshop and participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary components and tools. Hourly pay ranging between $30–$65 depending on task nature and location. Qualifications Education: Technician diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is highly desirable. Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with customers, suppliers, and team members. Ability to plan and execute tasks independently, with a strong focus on goals and priorities. Proactive problem‑solving mindset with a capacity for self‑learning. Ability to interpret technical specifications, wiring diagrams, signal flow charts, and bills of materials. Familiarity with construction drawings and planning for radio system installations, including equipment and cabling layouts. Competent in technical documentation and spreadsheet‑based data processing (calculations, charts, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Basic understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) concepts, RF communications, and electronic devices. Experience with RF test instruments or equivalent measurement tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis, technical reporting, and integration across software platforms. Familiarity with project management tools.
