Dietary Clerk Full Time West Point, NE, US Franciscan Healthcare is seeking an energetic and dependable Dietary Clerk to play a vital role in providing exceptional food and nutrition services to our patients and staff. In this position, you will help ensure meals are prepared and delivered accurately according to dietary orders while creating a positive dining experience for those we serve. This is a hands-on role that offers variety throughout the day, with opportunities to support meal service, food preparation, dishwashing operations, and patient interactions. Hours: Minimum 40 hours/week; 6:30am-2:30pm; rotating weekends and holidays ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Examines diet orders received and makes necessary diet card changes Observes and participates in patient tray-line making sure trays meet the requirements for the diet ordered Delivers trays to the patient floor and assists in tray delivery to patients Assists in picking up of patient trays and records necessary information; Returns trays to dietary kitchen and washes Compiles and distributes information concerning food requirements for patients to other dietary staff Prepares and stocks vending machines at Franciscan Healthcare Handles cold to hot foods and environment Assists in dishwashing and cleaning QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPPA Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions Full range of body motion with frequent standing and walking as well as bending, stooping and reaching Light-Medium strength with lifting of 30 lbs. occasionally, 15lbs. frequently, and 7 lbs. constantly (Lifting over 35 lbs requires assistive devices be used) Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations Manual dexterity and motor coordination required to handle trays and dishes rapidly and efficiently Ability to operate kitchen equipment, such as; electric slicer, food processor, vending machines, and dishwasher #J-18808-Ljbffr
