Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Austin, Texas. This contract role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting patient care activities and collaborating with the healthcare team during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications, and Meditech experience preferred. Candidates must have at least 1 year of clinical experience in emergency nursing or a related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, inpatient experience, CPI certification.
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 in Emergency Department, 1:5 for Behavioral Health, 1:3 for cardiac/trauma.
• Responsibilities: Performing procedures like splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, using Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers, airway support, de-escalation techniques.
• Unit Guidelines: Follow established policies and dress code (navy blue scrubs).
• Additional Information: The unit is equipped with new technology, experienced staff, and offers schedule options to attract candidates. An active social committee and recognition awards enhance team culture.
