Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Austin, TX. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care within a high-capacity emergency department. The RN will assess patient conditions, execute medical orders, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure positive patient outcomes, all while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, TX.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure obtained prior to hire date; certification in Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; Pediatric Advanced Life Support; at least 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department RN.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.

• Additional Information: The emergency department is a 30-bed unit operating within a major hospital, accredited as a Level IV Trauma Center, with certifications including JCAHO Primary Heart Attack Center (STEMI Receiving), DNV Primary Stroke Center Plus, ECMO, LVAD, advanced heart failure, Maternal Fetal Level IV, and Level III NICU. The department runs a 24/7 fast track with triage and charge nurses and supports a staffing ratio of 4:1, depending on patient stability. Staff includes ED patient care technicians trained in phlebotomy and splinting.
