Build, Maintain, and Support a Growing Manufacturing Operation

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Facilities Technician to join our team in Troutman, NC. This hands-on role combines carpentry, facility maintenance, shipping preparation, and general shop support.

The primary responsibility is building custom shipping crates for CNC machinery and machine components while assisting with facility upkeep and maintenance projects throughout our manufacturing operation. What You’ll Do:

• Build custom wooden crates for CNC machines and machine components
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
• Prepare equipment and parts for shipment
• Clean and deburr machine components
• Operate floor sweeping equipment and maintain shop cleanliness
• Replace facility air filters and perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Assist with wiring vacuum pumps and related equipment
• Support facility repairs and building maintenance projects
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience using power tools such as drills, nail guns, staplers, and saws preferred
• Carpentry, construction, maintenance, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday
