As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observer in Norwalk, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or property concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
