As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.69 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor and control access to the industrial location by verifying credentials, visitor authorization, contractor documentation, and delivery permissions in accordance with site policies. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, business operations, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
