Physical Therapist- PRN

Physical Therapist – PRN St. Mary's Health Care System is seeking a part‑time, PRN Physical Therapist to provide patient care on weekends and as needed on weekdays, including inpatient and hospital‑based outpatient coverage. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients referred by licensed physicians in accordance with the Georgia Practice Act and APTA guidelines. Supervise and collaborate with Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants, Athletic Trainers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, nurses, and physicians. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, JCAHO requirements, Medicare/Medicaid billing, and other insurers. Participate in clinical quality measurement and performance improvement programs. Support the mission and values of St. Mary's Health Care System and provide compassionate, person‑centered care. Qualifications Duly licensed by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. Graduate of an APTA or other accredited school of Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate). Broad experience in diverse clinical settings through accredited internship programs. Proficient in physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, modality applications, therapeutic exercise, and patient mobility. Knowledge of documentation, billing, and reimbursement that meets Georgia State practice act, JCAHO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance requirements. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate therapy treatments with other providers and multidisciplinary staff. Strong collaboration and conflict‑resolution skills; ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Excellent customer service skills and ability to relate to physician referral sources. Willingness to participate in quality improvement and performance measurement initiatives.
