What You'll Do

• Provide patient care in the Cath Lab, supporting complex interventional procedures
• Operate imaging systems and monitor hemodynamics during procedures
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor across a variety of cases including TAVR, MitraClip, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, and neuro interventions
• Administer vasoactive drugs and sedation, assess critical patients' condition
• Support team with sterile techniques and equipment operation (e.g., Philips imaging systems, IVUS, EKOS)
• Float between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Bossier facilities, including backup for WKMC North
• Complete mandatory documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR

What You Need

Required:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• 3+ years of RN experience with at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab work within the past year
• Ability to scrub and circulate in cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Valid driver's license for facility floating

Preferred:

• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring (Merge system, capable of supporting complex procedures)
• Experience with Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, laser atherectomy, and other advanced equipment

About the Assignment

This role entails floating between two major facilities performing complex cardiovascular and neuro-interventional procedures. The position involves both scheduled and call overnight shifts, with rotation to weekend duties. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team supporting cutting-edge cardiac interventions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Orientation is provided, including a week at the Innovation Center and precepting as needed.
