About the team: Walmart’s Global Talent Management Team drives innovation in selection and assessment by integrating advanced AI, data science, and measurement methods. The team leads global initiatives to enhance workforce outcomes through rigorous psychometrics and predictive modeling. As part of this group, you will collaborate with business operations and people leadership to develop and implement innovative talent solutions. The team values methodological rigor and practical judgment, managing complex projects that shape talent strategies across markets. What you'll do:Support the design, implementation, and validation of scientifically grounded selection processes, psychometric assessments, situational judgment tests, and multi-measure batteries, rooted in I/O psychology best practices. Ensure all selection activities meet EEOC/UGESP compliance standards.Contribute to applied research initiatives that leverage AI and data science methodologies to improve the predictive power, efficiency, and fairness of candidate and associate measurement while driving innovation in assessments. Apply quantitative methods, including regression modeling, IRT, structural equation modeling, NLP, and predictive analytics, to surface insights from assessment data.Work cross-functionally with HR leaders, hiring managers, and external assessment vendors to support the design of solutions while maintaining global standards.What you'll bring:Proven experience managing talent development projects, including planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.Strong leadership skills with a track record of hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.Expertise in talent management, organizational behavior, and industrial and organizational psychology.Ability to analyze business priorities and data to forecast talent needs and develop strategic workforce plans.Proficiency in project management, vendor relationship management, and contract negotiation.Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and drive collaboration across functions.Hands-on experience with statistical computing environments (Python, R, or equivalent) and comfort working with large datasets. Familiarity with AI/NLP applications in talent assessment.
