Join our dynamic care team at Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Worcester!

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our team's success. As an OT with Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, you will assess, plan, and provide treatment to patients/residents, while collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

Up to $45 an hour with weekly pay for standard hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen patients/residents and develop personalized care plans
• Evaluate patients/residents and provide direct treatment in accordance with established plans of care
• Consult with patients/residents, caregivers, and physicians to ensure effective treatment and care
• Participate in team meetings and decision-making processes to drive quality care
• Document activities and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Demonstrate knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers
• Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs

Requirements:

• Must possess a degree in occupational therapy
• CEU's per state licensure requirements
• Active and unencumbered OT license in Massachusetts, or in the process of obtaining one
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to function effectively in multiple systems and interact with all levels of staff and customers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands
