Order Entry And Customer Service Assistant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry and Customer Service Assistant for a high-volume, product-driven environment. This role balances precise data entry with professional client relations.

Core Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Create new accounts, enter sales orders into the ERP system, and dispatch factory purchase orders efficiently.
• Customer Support: Handle inbound calls and digital messages, resolving billing or product inquiries by the end of each business day.
• Logistics Tracking: Update clients on manufacturing status, shipping timelines, and delivery confirmations.
• Operational Backup: Document all service issues and provide full-time coverage for the Production Coordinator when needed.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: High School Diploma and 3+ years in a high-volume, customer-facing role.
• Technical: Proficient in office suites, CRM databases, and accounting/ERP software.
• Competencies: Strong communication skills, sharp attention to detail, active listening, and excellent time management.
• Physical: Ability to sit for long periods, work on computers, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
