Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role involves working within a teaching hospital environment focusing on high-risk antepartum care and C-section procedures.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Provide care in labor and delivery, high-risk antepartum, and postpartum settings
• Triage obstetrical patients and perform sterile vaginal exams
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, circulate for C-sections, and recover patients post-surgery
• Administer anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Perform newborn assessments and assist with breastfeeding and lactation support
• Recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• NY License in hand prior to submission
• 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHMSkills
• Experience with Allscripts and telemetry
