Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs of patients referred by their physicians.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that effectively address the underlying issues associated with orthopedic conditions.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
• Employ evidence-based approaches to monitor progress and modify treatment plans in response to patient feedback and outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on treatment plans, physical health strategies, and preventive care measures.
• Document patient progress and interactions meticulously to ensure clear communication and facilitate continuity of care.
• Meet established performance metrics and contribute positively to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus encompasses a diverse range of populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, providing care that emphasizes healing, prevention of future injuries, and restoration of function.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• A commitment to establishing strong relationships with patients, understanding their individual needs and aspirations.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in home health settings or familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation protocols will have an advantage. A background in pediatric or sports medicine physical therapy is also beneficial as it enables a broader approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
