Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will be responsible for providing high-quality care to obstetric patients. The role involves performing sterile vaginal exams, triage, and various labor and delivery procedures independently. Candidates must have expert experience and the ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care.
• Administer various medications and therapies as required.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience; may consider candidates with at least 1.5 years of relevant experience.
• Current, valid California RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP.
• Expertise in performing sterile vaginal exams independently.
• Epic charting system experience is mandatory.
