Registered Nurse (RN) L&D - Labor and

Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery
Requirements:

Current CA RN license
AWHONN Advanced Certification
ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NRP certifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery (1.5 years may be considered based on experience)
Proficient in sterile vaginal examinations and triage
Experience with external and internal fetal monitoring, labor management, cesarean assistance, and newborn assessment
Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage labor and delivery processes, supporting patients throughout their childbirth experience.
Conduct assessments, monitor fetal heart rates, and interpret maternal and fetal data.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient-centered care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and newborn care.
Administer medications and manage epidural anesthesia recovery as needed.
Compliance / Notes:

RTO must be included at time of submission.
Must commit to working 3 holidays out of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
LA fire card required within the last 30 days (at candidate's expense).
