You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to create accurate, engaging, and strategically aligned materials across various therapeutic areas. Act as the medical point of contact for assigned client accounts and provide scientific guidance throughout projects. Research, write, edit, and translate complex scientific and clinical information for diverse healthcare audiences. Develop strategic medical content including slide presentations, advisory board materials, strategy guides, monographs, discussion guides, and training resources. Apply in-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas and managed care topics to ensure technical accuracy and project quality. Partner with account teams to align content with client objectives, strategic priorities, and communication goals. Present and discuss medical content with internal teams and clients when needed. Participate in medical, legal, and regulatory review processes to ensure compliance and accuracy. Contribute to project planning, kickoff meetings, status updates, client discussions, and internal brainstorming sessions. Support new business initiatives through scientific insights, content development, and tactical recommendations. Mentor and support junior-level writers by sharing expertise and best practices. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a scientifically trained professional with strong writing abilities and experience communicating complex healthcare information. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, collaborating with diverse teams, and producing high-quality content in a dynamic agency environment. Doctorate-level degree such as PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced scientific qualification. 2–4 years of experience in medical communications, healthcare agencies, medical education, life sciences, or a related field. Strong ability to interpret and simplify complex scientific concepts for managed care and healthcare audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Strong research skills and interest in staying current with medical, scientific, and healthcare trends. Ability to develop strategic medical content and provide meaningful scientific insights. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional project teams. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced client-focused environment. Willingness to travel occasionally as needed. Ability to work standard Central Time Zone business hours.
