What You’ll Do: Design & Draft : Assist with CAD drafting and design support for transportation, site development, structural, and utility projects. Analyze & Evaluate : Support traffic studies, environmental analyses, planning and feasibility studies, and utility coordination efforts. Inspect & Observe : Participate in construction management and electrical inspection tasks, including field reviews and documentation. Survey & Map : Contribute to field survey operations and mapping using modern tools and GIS technologies. Collaborate & Learn : Work alongside experienced engineers and project leaders across disciplines such as traffic signal and lighting design, parks/trails/recreation planning, and more. Grow & Develop : Gain exposure to a variety of engineering principles and project types while building your technical skills and professional network. What We’re Looking For: Education : Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Civil Engineering or an AS in Civil Engineering Technology. Interest Areas : Transportation design, construction management, site development, structural design, traffic studies, traffic signal & lighting design, parks/trails/recreation, survey & mapping, utility coordination, electrical inspection, environmental analyses, and planning & feasibility studies. Skills : Entry‑level knowledge of CAD software is desirable. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and time management skills are essential. Mindset : Positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to contribute to a team‑oriented environment. Mobility : Ability to work outdoors and on construction sites, lift 20–60 lbs., and maintain a clean driving record.
