This position performs accounting and support functions to facilitate the processing of domestic and foreign travel requests to include conference coordination and expense reports in NREL's highly regulated and complex environment. Job Duties include:

• Provide customer service to NREL domestic and foreign travelers by providing information, support, and accounting services related to NREL travel.
• Perform complex administrative functions to ensure timely approvals for foreign travel in compliance with current NREL travel policies and government travel regulations and orders. Foreign travel duties include the timely and accurate submissions to the Foreign Travel Management System, electronic Country Clearance (eCC), and i-Portal Conference Management systems.
• Conduct thorough reviews of domestic and foreign travel expense reports to ensure compliance with applicable NREL, Federal and DOE rules and regulations.

. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Associate's Degree or certification program of comparable scope and 5 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience.

• Must meet educational requirements prior to employment start date.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week) Job Profile: Specialist IV / Annual Salary Range: $49,100 - $78,600 NREL takes into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
