Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Vascular procedures is responsible for performing high-quality vascular imaging studies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. The role involves working closely with physicians and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations with precision and adherence to established protocols.
• Set up and assist radiologists during imaging procedures to ensure smooth workflow.
• Operate and monitor ultrasound equipment, performing quality control checks regularly.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process, including transporting patients as needed.
• Document and analyze imaging data, ensuring accuracy and completeness for each exam.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency and patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or relevant credential preferred.
• RDMS (AB, OB-GYN) certification desirable.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in vascular imaging and patient care.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
